Since December 2002 he has been member again of the BFO.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On his first Hungaroton recording he plays concertos for double-bass and orchestra from Sperger and Vanhal (both friends of Mozart) with the Erkel Ferenc Chamber Orchestra.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 1996 he won the Giovanni Bottesini International Competition in Cremona, in 2003, 2007, 2009 and\u00a0 2014 the S\u00e1ndor V\u00e9gh Competition of the Budapest Festival Orchestra.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 1996 he was personally invited by Maestro Sir Georg Solti to the\u00a0<a title=\"wop\" href=\"http:\/\/www.worldorchestraforpeace.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>World Orchestra for Peace<\/b><\/a>, in which 78 players of the world&#8217;s leading orchestras celebrated the 50th anniversary of the United Nations Organisation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He plays regularly with his friends,\u00a0 the\u00a0<a title=\"lfkz\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lfkz.hu\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra<\/b><\/a>, the Kod\u00e1ly Quartet (their recording at Naxos of the\u00a0<a title=\"BFZ\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bfz.hu\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Octet of Bruch<\/b><\/a>\u00a0won several nominations and prizes), the Akad\u00e9mia Quartet and the Auer Quartet.\u00a0His chamber music partners were among others: Nicolas Altstaedt, Krist\u00f3f Bar\u00e1ti, Diego Chenna, Jonathan Cohen, L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Feny\u0151, Bal\u00e1zs F\u00fclei, Jos\u00e9 Gallardo, Zolt\u00e1n G\u00e1l, M\u00e1rta Guly\u00e1s, Alina Ibragimova, Nobuko Imai, Zolt\u00e1n Kocsis, Gy\u00f6rgy Konr\u00e1d, Alexei Ljubimov, Yuri Martinov, Csaba Onczay, Mikhail Ovrutsky, Alina Pogostkina, Zolt\u00e1n R\u00e1cz, Gustav Rivinius, Rafael Rosenfeld, Adam R\u00f6mer, Vilmos Szabadi, G\u00e1bor Tak\u00e1cs-Nagy, Milan Turkovic, Alexei Ogrintchouk, Alexander Rudin, Istv\u00e1n V\u00e1rdai, Tam\u00e1s Varga.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He has been invited to the Chamber Orchestra of the Musikdorf Ernen (Gy\u00f6rgy-Seb\u00f6k-Festival, in Switzerland), as well to the Philharmonia V\u00e9gh led by Andr\u00e1s Keller. He is regularly invited to Andr\u00e1s Schiff&#8217;s own chamber orchestra, the Cappella Andrea\u00a0 Barca, to the Camerata Bellerive, Geneva led by G\u00e1bor Tak\u00e1cs-Nagy, to the Kaposv\u00e1r International Chamber Music Festival (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kaposfest.hu\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Kaposfest<\/b><\/a><\/span>),\u00a0as well\u00a0to the Lockenhaus Chamber Music Festival (founded by Gidon Kremer, artistic director: Nicolas Altstaedt). He is member of Hungary&#8217;s top ensemble for contemporary music, UMZE.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He played several times as soloist of concertos for double-bass with world-famous conductors like Iv\u00e1n Fischer,\u00a0 Mark Wigglesworth, Leonidas Kavakos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He is Co-President of the Hungarian Bassists Society and member of the International Sperger Society.<\/p>\n<p>Zsolt Fej\u00e9rv\u00e1ri has been recently appointed as teacher at the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Zsolt Fej\u00e9rv\u00e1ri plays a wonderful bass made by the master of the 19th century, Br\u00fccknert, offered to the Budapest Festival Orchestra by Lord Rothermere, in 1995.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On his solo appearances he plays a solo tuned bass built especially for him by the\u00a0young and incredibly talented German master\u00a0<b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.krattenmacher.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Stefan Krattenmacher<\/a><\/b>\u00a0.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Studied with Zolt\u00e1n Tibay and P\u00e9ter Kubina at the prestigious\u00a0Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest.
