International Double Bass Competition of Carl Ditters von Dittersdorf<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n

The 5th year of International Double Bass competition of C. D. von Dittersdorf<\/strong> is organized by the Slovak Double Bass Club<\/strong>. It is dedicated for all double bass players, pupils<\/strong> and students<\/strong> of primary music shools,<\/strong> conservatories, music academies and universities.<\/strong> In the 5th year of competition witch will be in date 27th of september 2015<\/strong> we decide to separate this competition as a\u00a0single event<\/strong> during one whole day. We were really surprised by the participation of so many young and good double bassist over the Europe who take the part of the last 4th Dittersdorf competition in Bansk\u00e1 Bystrica on 11th of February 2014. To be serious to each participant, \u00a0for the better time to organize this evening we decide to separate this competition from the workshops, concerts and seminars – BASS FEST+ 2015 wich we will continue with after competition of Cal Ditters von Dittersdorf.<\/p>\n

Profile<\/strong> of this this competition integrates to a\u00a0lot of similar international double bass competitions,<\/strong> which are organised all around the world.<\/strong> During\u00a0 of 4 years of existence it entegrated to prominent double bass interprets competitions from all of the Europe. It uprised under an international interpreter workshops called Bass Fest 2012. In incomming classes it cames to a\u00a0part of this international interpreter courses.<\/p>\n

More than 120 competitiors<\/strong> from primary art schools, conservatories and arc colleges and academies from 15 european countries were engaged during 4 years of competition existance<\/strong> in unique categories. In the top category is for second round mandantory to present \u00a0obligatory\u00a0composition,<\/strong> which was composed for actual class of Slovak<\/strong> modern composer<\/strong>. (In 2013 it was a\u00a0composition – Fare Musica\u201c Vojtech Didi<\/strong>, in the year 2014 \u2013 \u201eBassome mucho\u201c Jevgenij Ir\u0161ai<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

The goal of this competition is to enrich, motivate<\/strong> and support<\/strong> a\u00a0wholsome competibility under double bass students<\/strong> and participators<\/strong> of whole event BASS FEST+2015<\/strong>, to offer a\u00a0possibility for all participators, listeners and visitors to compare own shows with other interpreters from foreign countries and representatives of another international schools.<\/p>\n

The condition and the target of organisers it to keep the most objective appreciation<\/strong> of the competitors in the form of an international\u00a0 jury<\/strong> composition, which\u00a0 consists from prominent personalities, double bass players, sololist and educationists<\/strong> on prominents academies from all over the Europe.<\/p>\n
