I began my musical career at the age of nine, playing the accordion under Mr. Rajt in Brezov\u00e1 pod Bradlom. Two years later, I switched to the double bass to fill a vacancy left by a departing member. I nurtured my passion for music in the Kopani\u010diarik folklore ensemble in Myjava, and later in the Brezov\u00e1 folklore ensemble until 1997.<\/div>\n
In 1996, I was admitted to the State Conservatory in Bratislava, where I studied under Professor Viskup from 1996 to 2000. After graduating, I transferred to the Prague Conservatory (2000\u20132002), where I completed my double bass studies in the class of Professor Ji\u0159\u00ed Valenta. During my studies in Prague, I was selected for an internship with the Czech Philharmonic, marking the beginning of my professional career. Following my successful admission to the internship, Professor Ji\u0159\u00ed Hudec chose me and offered me the opportunity for further study in his class at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) in Manchester (2002\u20132005). During and after my studies at the RNCM, I worked as a freelance substitute musician for various British orchestras, including the Hall\u00e9, the BBC Philharmonic, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as the Europe-based Mahler Chamber Orchestra.<\/div>\n
In 2013, I accepted an offer to join Shen Yun Performing Arts, based in New York. Since 2016, I have been teaching double bass and chamber music at Fei Tian College and the Fei Tian Academy of the Arts.<\/div>\n
