She is a laureate of the\u00a0 Magdeburg and Munich international competitions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Jana Semer\u00e1dov\u00e1 is the artistic director of the <strong>Collegium Marianum Ensemble<\/strong> and programme director of the concert cycle <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baroknipodvecery.cz\/\">Baroque Soir\u00e9es<\/a>and the international music festival <a href=\"http:\/\/www.letnislavnosti.cz\/en\/\">Summer Festivities of Early Music<\/a>. She is engaged in intensive research both at home and abroad and in the study of baroque gesture, declamation and dance. Many of her unique programmes are built on the interconnection of music and drama. Under her direction, Collegium Marianum stages several modern premieres each year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"odstavec_1_text\">Jana Semer\u00e1dov\u00e1 has made a number of recordings; her CDs with Collegium Marianum have appeared as part of the successful series \u201cMusic from Eighteenth-Century Prague\u201d on the Supraphon label. On Supraphon she has also recorded her feature CD \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.collegiummarianum.cz\/en\/collegium-marianum\/nahravky\/solo-pro-krale\/\">Solo for the King<\/a>\u201d. She has featured extensively on the Czech Radio and TV, as well as on the radio abroad. <\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"odstavec_1_text\">Jana Semer\u00e1dov\u00e1 has performed on prominent European concert platforms (eg. Bachfest Leipzig, Mitte Europa, Musikfestspiele Potsdam, Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles, Festival de Sabl\u00e9, Innsbrucker Festwochen, Pra\u017esk\u00e9 jaro, Tage Alter Musik Regensburg, Vantaa Baroque, Konzerthaus in Vienna and Berlin, and Palau de M\u00fasica Barcelona).
