He comes from a family where music has accompanied him since birth. At the age of nine, he began learning to play the double bass at the School of Arts in Turčianske Teplice. He further developed his musical talent at the J. L. Bella Conservatory in Banská Bystrica under the guidance of the leading Slovak jazz double bassist, Róbert Ragan. During his studies at the conservatory, he served as a member of the State Opera Orchestra in Banská Bystrica. In 2012, he joined the orchestra of the Lúčnica artistic ensemble and the Zlaté husle orchestra. Currently, he is studying at the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica under Ján Krígovský. During his studies, he has received several awards at Slovak and international competitions (International Double Bassist Competition in Brno – 2nd place, Slovak Conservatories Competition – 1st place, K. D von Dittersdorf International Competition – 3rd place). He continuously expands his musical education through various master classes for double bass (Bass Fest, International Meeting of Double Bassists in Brno, Garry Karr, Roman Patkoló…). Apart from his work in the Bass Band ensemble, he is an internal member of the Rusín Čendeš Orchestra, Dobrá Muzika, and Mojše Band. Thanks to his versatile genre focus, he is frequently invited to participate in various projects and ensembles. Simultaneously, he is actively engaged in teaching at the elementary level. He arranges new pieces for children, is an active educator, and the creator of the 1st Slovak Double Bass School for Children.
