He is a graduate of orchestral conducting at JAMU in Brno. He focuses primarily on the interpretation of so-called early music, especially works from the 20th century and contemporary music. He based his theoretical and historical knowledge in the field of performance practice on the study of musical treatises and archival materials from the 18th and 19th centuries. He gained experience in orchestral conducting and ensemble playing through conducting practice with various contemporary and historical ensembles. He acquired practical experience in chamber and solo performance from musicians Shalev, El, and James Johnston. He is the artistic director of the ensemble Musica Figuralis and collaborates with the ensembles Collegium Marianum, Collegium Wartberg, Capella Ornamentata, Societas incognitorum, Solamente naturali, Czech Ensemble Baroque, Ensemble versus, Brno State Philharmonic, Moravian Philharmonic Olomouc, and others. The focus of his work is the management and promotion of projects aimed at reviving performances of Moravian, Austrian, and Czech music from the second half of the 18th century, performed authentically on period instruments.
